Feels good to say this is my first post on WillISucceed.com. I felt my first post should be about my passive income inspiration to succeed. After all, the name of the site (Will I Succeed?) is a question. My answer, is yes, I will succeed. I need to succeed.
Before I go on, let me ask you a question. Where does your passive income inspiration for success come from? What books have you read, movies you have seen, and people you know that have inspired you to believe that it’s not only possible to achieve the success you want but that you have the power do it?
Hopefully this site and my success (fingers crossed and pleading) will inspire you. When journeying into passive income, I have drawn inspiration from a lot of inspirational people I know, movies I have watched, and books I have read. Ultimately, these resources have helped to open up my eyes to the law of attraction. I hope to one day be on somebody else’s list as one of their inspirational resources.
Without further ado, here they are, laid out and curated for you.
My Family
It should go without saying, my family is my number one inspiration. More than that, they are my why.
The Secret
You’ll walk away from this film feeling like you can truly have whatever life you want to have. I’m going to leave it at that. If you’ve never seen this film, I highly suggest you see it as soon as possible.
The Answer
I discovered The Answer from The Secret. I suggest watching The Secret first and then diving into the Answer. The Answer is like The Secret but in depth. I actually keep a copy of it in my desk drawer. The Author, John Assaraf, talks about how to make success apart of your daily life, all the way down to your subconscious level. He, essentially, shows you how to program yourself for success.
How to Win Friends and Influence People
It’s an oldy but a goody. This book was first published in 1936. The principals in this book are just as relevant today as they were back in 1936. I truly believe this is a timeless book that will still be highly sought after and read 100 years from now.
Smart Passive Income Podcast
This podcast is actually what got me into listening to Podcasts. When it comes to Podcasts in the subject matter of Internet Marketing and passive income, this is at the top of my list. The SPI Podcasts have provided me with so much value and inspiration. Every time I listen to a Podcast I have to usually pause it a few times throughout as light bulbs start going off in my head. Put differently, this show gets my creative juices flowing. Pat does such a great job of pulling valuable information from his guests about what they have done that has helped lead to their success. Which brings me to his guests. He does an amazing job at bringing in guests that are successful in the area of passive income. I especially like that he will interview SPI success stories (which I plan to be one day). These are listeners who have listened to his Podcasts, been inspired, and achieved success. So definitely check out the Smart Passive Income Podcast.
Gateway to Happiness
Gateway to Happiness is one of those books you can randomly open to any page in the book and read for the first thing you see for inspiration and reflection.. I will let you know, up front, this is a “Jewish” book. So it is a bit religious. But, for the most part, the concepts in this book apply to everyone. In my opinion, this really isn’t meant to be a book you read from cover to cover. Personally, the way I like to read it is by reading one small piece from a different section of the book everyday.
The 10X Rule
If you want to put yourself into the right mindset for massive success, then you must read this book. Principles learned in a book such as How to Win Friends and Influence people are great and all but to yourself in the right mindset is another thing, in my opinion. That is what this book does.
